Vomit Punk

Pants-Urban Outfitters, Arizona Tank-Thrifted, Denim Vest-Handed Down, Tie-Dye Scarf-DIY, Bag-Lucky Brand, Boots-Dr. Martens
Well, its been a while since I've posted, which is kind of pathetic considering I'm still new to this whole blogging thing. But I'll step up my game, I promise!

So this pants may be one of my favorite things I own. They high waisted, which I love high waisted stuff in general, and I also can wear them without a belt! (Pretty much all my other pants I do). And they are absolutely insane. Like, it looks like someone threw up all over them, which is totally rad!

Also, I finally committed to a college. I decided to spend the next four years of my life in the beautiful San Diego at Point Loma! I'm stoked because: 1. It's San Diego, 2. The college is a really small private school. I'm not much of a people person so that's definitely a perk for me, 3. Point Loma is LITERALLY on the beach. Some of the classrooms and dorms even have a view. It's almost a joke how perfect it is. 4. I'm one step closer to pursuing my dream working in fashion! Fashion Merchandising major fer dayz.

Also, I decided that I'm going to start saving up for Coachella next year after finding out I missed out on the Buzzcocks this year. If you don't know who the Buzzcocks are, please listen to this. They're fantastic.

From a Mess to the Masses

Jacket-Thrifted, Shirt and Leggings-Borrowed, Boots-Dr. Martens
While on vacation, I was able to go to this flea market in New Orleans. There was some lady selling a bunch of pins, and I scored this awesome Johnny Cash one. I decided to put it on my backpack for school, but of course, someone stole it ;_; I never even got a picture with it. I miss that pin...

Unicorn Blood

Shirt-DIY, Skirt-Zara, Socks-Urban Outfitters, Boots-Dr. Martens
Hey brothaz.
So I just got back from a cruise. Basically all I did the whole time was sit around and eat. I love food.
Also, I'm going to be selling shirts like this soon, so if you're interested, let me know!
Have a fantastic Sunday!

Obedience

Obey Shirt-thrifted, Shorts-thrifted, Socks-Urban Outfitters
Just so you know, that is not a bandeau. That morning I decided to wear that shirt, but the one bandeau I own was dirty, and I have to wear one with this shirt. My solution? I picked a bandana off my floor and tied it around me. This may possible be one of the only times I'm glad I have a small chest. And then a few days later, my friend decided to do the same thing. It's like I made fetch happen. Holla.

Also, I'm going to be talking about 500 Days of Summer again. I discovered this video recently, and almost died. In case you saw the movie and don't understand the reference, it's from the beginning when Summer says "we've been like Sid and Nancy for months". And if you don't know who Sid and Nancy are, look them up. They're rad.

Basically, my two favorite couples in one video. *dies*

Here are some pictures of the real Sid and Nancy. I love it.

And I leave you with the song from the video: My Crazy Life by DFL

Yin Yangs, Tie Dye, and a Rant About Celebrity Gossip

I feel like I'm just way too sassy in this picture, so I apologize for that.

Yin Yang Tank-DIY, Tie Dye Dress- H&M
So today, I decided to talk about something actually somewhat meaningful. One thing I can't stand are celebrity fashion critics. I find it kind of sad that people actually are paid (or unpaid, either way its bad) to sit around and make fun of what other people wore. It's like 8th grade, but worse.
But that's not even what bugs me the most. What bugs me the most is when celebrities like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry end up on these lists. It just makes no sense to me. People like them aren't out there to be as trendy and put together as possible (usually). They're TRYING to be weird and outlandish! So it makes no sense to me why people would waste their time criticizing them, out of all people! I mean obviously they don't care, and they aren't going to change so why bother? It's part of who they are creating themselves to be. One example that bugs me would be Björk and the swan dress she wore. Yeah, it is weird, but it's Björk, what do you expect her to wear? Or Lady Gaga and her meat dress.
Another example that bugs me is the people who still criticize Kelly Osbourne's purple/grey hair. It bugged me when people first started criticizing it, but the fact that she is still getting crap about it makes no sense to me. Obviously she likes it, so just get over it. (Plus I think it's totally rad and totally works with her personality, but that's just me)
So yeah, I don't know, it all just kind of bugs me. If there is anyone out there that bothering to read this, tell me what you think. Otherwise I'd just be talking to myself, which is cool too.

I leave you with Celebrity Skin by Hole, which I feel fits appropriately with my rant.
