Hey Lolita Hey

Dress- Thrifted, Sunglasses- Slow, Awesome Pins- Some random art museum

I felt very Lolita-ish in this dress. More specifically, Lana Del Rey Lolita. Which, if you haven't heard that song, it's a must. Also I think this may be my first post sporting the black lipstick. My mom thinks I'm extremely weird for owning this, but hey I like weird things.
So I'm really stoked because I have a trip planed to LA next week. Even though I only live an hour away, LA is not somewhere I'm able to go often, which is really a bummer because the thrifting there kills me. I'm mainly excited to go to Wasteland, which is like my own personal heaven on Earth. If anyone knows any other good places to go in the Melrose area, PLEASE let me know!!

CLICK HERE to listen to Lolita! For some reason it doesn't exist on youtube. I couldn't even find the real version....

Someone teach me how to skateboard

Shorts- Wasteland, Tank- Urban Outfitters, Shawl thing- Forever 21 (I got it last year, don't worry!), Jesus Glasses- Ebay
Since I've started a blog, I've noticed a lot of people out there who desperately try to get a lot of followers. For example, I've gotten several messages saying things such as "I like your blog, follow me and I'll follow you back? Let me know if you like this idea!" Too me, that's really weird. I mean if that's your thing, then go for it I guess. But isn't fashion blogging just supposed to be about sharing your passion? Not about garnering a ton of followers, let alone making "following pacts". I mean, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about since I don't have a ton of followers myself. But to me it's not a problem. No one  could read my blog for all I care, because I'm doing this for myself and because I enjoy talking about fashion and sharing my style.
Recently I've joined Bloglovin'. I really like this website because 1. It's a lot easier to keep track of blogs I like and 2. When people follow you, it doesn't tell you who it is. It's nice to know people are actually following my blog because they enjoy it, not because they want me to check out their blog and get followers that way.

Also, I'm kind of dying over the new Tunnel Vision stock. If you don't know what Tunnel Vision is, click HERE immediately. You're missing out.
Here are some of my favorite pieces.

Grime

Skirt- American Apparel, Flower Crown- DIY, Yin Yang Necklace- DIY
I'm obsessed with this skirt. I got it at American Apparel a few weeks ago. It took a lot for me to buy it, considering it was around $50 and I'm broke, so that's a lot of money for me to throw down on one item. But I'm so glad I bought it. The waist is perfect and I love the snap closure it has. I've been wearing it a lot, because its a lot more fun to wear then my typical high waisted shorts. Plus the kind of pin-upy style of it is fun to mix with more edgy outfits.
Also, how refreshing is it to finally have some nice quality pictures?! I love my new camera. I got a Canon EOS Rebel T3 as a graduation gift, and have been bringing it around with me everywhere. Needless to say, I have a lot of pictures to put up. So be expecting a large post sometime soon.
