Striped Turtle Neck Tank thing- my sister, Velvet Leggings- American Apparel, Boots- Thrifted, Jacket- Tunnel Vision |
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgivings. My week being at home was so nice, especially since I was able to be reunited with old friends. However going back to school was so hard. I have three weeks until winter break, all filled with finals. Not only that but I have a twelve page research paper due Wednesday that I haven't started (Why am I blogging....?)
So I guess this is where most bloggers post about all the things they got on Black Friday, right? Well, let me tell you what happened to me. I have never done the whole get up at the crack of dawn and go shopping thing, so my good friend Veronica and I decided to go shopping mainly for fun. At midnight we decided to head over to the Irvine Spectrum to check out the Urban Outfitters sale. First, we get there and discover this huge line of Orange County hipsters to get in. Neither of us really cared about being able to hit as many deals as we could, and there wasn't really anywhere we cared about going, so we decided to just wait. There was this huge swarm of people right around the door, and every time someone would open the door to leave the store, everyone would push and try to force their way in. People were so crazy that it looked like they could have been at a concert or something. There were fights breaking out and, I kid you not, someone was crowd surfing at one point. Really. It ended up getting so bad that they didn't open the store at all that morning.
It was just a good reminder of how much I hate Orange County.
