Fever

How rad is this necklace?! The company WearLex sent it over to me, and for someone who typically does not wear too much jewelry, I'm obsessed. The length is perfect and for it being a huge stone pendant, its not uncomfortable. All her stuff is handmade, uses 14k gold, and is just amazing so go show her some love here!

I'm currently sitting in the calm before the storm. Summer for me is approaching, and I have so many great things coming my way but too many projects and research papers to conquer beforehand. But only about 3 more weeks until my hardest semester so far is done. I'm also really excited to announce that this summer I'll be interning with the amazing company 31 Bits!! (check out their website here) If you're not familiar with them, they are a jewelry company that employs women in Uganda to make their product. Not only am I in love with this company and their product, but I am so excited that my first real professional experience in the fashion industry will be at a place that is working to put good into the world. I have been so incredibly excited to learn from them, and I look forward to sharing my experiences as summer goes on!

Current Inspiration

As my semester of 18 units and minimal sleep begins to come to a close, I find myself having more time to reinvest in fashion again. My personal style as been kind of all over the place lately, so I've been finding myself attempting to define what my style is at the moment. So here are some images that I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from lately. All are from Pinterest.

Fine and Mellow

I'm definitely going through a style shift at the moment, and I feel like this outfit is pretty representative of that. Also I'm wearing another romper. Guess I'm a romper gal. 

In other news, I have a real domain name now!! I finally gave up the fight of trying to get restlessyouth.com and settled with restlessyouthblog.com. I'm mainly glad to have that annoying "0" out of my url now. I feel like an adult.

Uniform

So I finally had a break to update my blog. Some things I've been up to:
Cut my hair to my chin, spent a week camping along the central coast, bought a pair of flared jeans, went to one of my best friend's bridal showers, and continued to drink a lot of coffee and get not enough sleep.
