Uniform

So I finally had a break to update my blog. Some things I've been up to:
Cut my hair to my chin, spent a week camping along the central coast, bought a pair of flared jeans, went to one of my best friend's bridal showers, and continued to drink a lot of coffee and get not enough sleep.

Super comfy romper courtesy of Tobi. I will probably overwear it this spring. Check out more of their rompers here! You can currently get this romper, as well as anything else on their site, for 50% off!

Leather & Sequins

I don't know the last time I wore sequins. But let me tell you, I felt pretty fancy. I recently saw Ben Howard in concert, and he had this one girl one stage who played 1000 different instruments and was rocking out the whole time. So basically, total babe. But during the show she was wearing a crop top pretty much identical to this one. So when I saw this one on Tobi's website, my first thought was, "I MUST GET THAT TOP BECAUSE THAT GIRL HAD THAT TOP!!!!"

Also I'm really excited to be collaborating with Tobi again! Words can not describe how much I love this company. Not only do they put out amazing product that I'm obsessed with, like this skirt and top, but they're also very affordable, which is perfect for broke college girls like me! Oh and they have free shipping. And your first order is 50% off. Booyah.

Here's a few more of their skirts and crops tops that I'm just drooling over:

Ode to the Jumpsuit

One trend I'm all about right now is the jumpsuit. I've teamed up again with Motel to show three different ways I would style a jumpsuit. Comfortable, but not always easy to wear, this task ended up being a fun challenge for me. I've always loved jumpsuits and have been really been looking for a good one for this fall. This one is a dream. Not only is it the perfect fit and style, but it is literally the most comfortable thing ever. And it has pockets.

If I was going to a farmers market or doing something girly on a Sunday

My first instinct when putting on this jumpsuit was to pair it with my denim jacket. I decided to give it a more retro illusion by adding on a leather belt.

If I wanted to dress it up more without being too girly

I've also been obsessing over tan trench coats lately (I found this London Fog one at a thrift store for $2, holla) so it was the next natural thing for me to try over this jumpsuit. I loved the baggy-ness of the jumpsuit mixed with the long trench coat. I decided to balance out the tomboy vibe by adding a statement necklace and simple heels.

How I would wear it to class

For this final look I decided to play up the comfort of the jumpsuit by adding my two favorite go to pieces in my wardrobe currently. White high tops were a must, and this hat literally goes with everything so naturally I added it. I threw on some reflective sunglasses from zeroUV to dress up the look a little bit. (Also, I finally went to Salvation Mountain!!!!!)

Oh and the best part? You can get this dream of a jumpsuit for yourself right now ON SALE (and anything else that will make your dreams come true). Today through Monday, Motel is offering 25% everything on the site, so now is your opportunity! It will change your life. Ok maybe not your life, but it will make getting dressed in the morning a little more fun.

Grey Matter

Even though temperatures are still in the high 80s here in Orange County, I am completely ready for fall. I'm slowly beginning to transition my wardrobe to be more fall ready while trying to incorporate pieces that I won't have to wait a month or two to wear. I am completely obsessed with this this dress sent to me by the wonderful people at Tobi, with its seasonal versatility being one of the reasons. Not only is the dress killer on its own, but the cut works perfectly for end of summer temperatures while the muted colors make it great for transitioning. I added this wool vest I got at nordstrom to give the dress a more casual look, and these shoes (also from Tobi) simply because they're perfect.
