Forever Thankful to Hedi Slimane

I feel like these days all I do is talk about my love for The Garden. By this point I hope that anyone who has come in contact with my blog or life has checked them out. And if you haven't, you need to stop what you're doing right now and go check them out.
Finished? Great we can move on now. So yesterday I was practically moved to tears when I saw that Saint Laurent (one of my favorite brands) decided to actually use The Garden (one of my favorite bands which you all have checked out at the point) for their Mens Fall Winter 2013 campaign. I mean you go on freaking ysl.com and "What We Are" plays along with a whole video campaign. And if you just ignore the fact of who's modeling, the whole collection itself is perfect. THE LEATHER. I mean fashion alone can get me all emotional, but this is just too much.

Why I'm freaking out over Saint Laurent

Something very important happened recently in the world of fashion. I'm talking about Saint Laurent Spring Menswear.
These are just a few of my favorite looks from the show. In all, the whole thing was absolutely wonderful; the use of stripes, the colors, the whole rockabilly vibe. In general there is nothing I love more than a man in a fitted suit. But mix that with stripes and rock and roll and you've got a collection that I could only dream about.
However even with all these wonderful combinations, that is not the reason I'm freaking out over this collection. The reason I'm so excited is because of two of the models used in the show: Fletcher and Wyatt Shears.
Fletcher and Wyatt are twins from Orange County that make up this wonderful punk band that I've recently become obsessed with called The Garden. It's already known that Heidi Slimane loves to work with musicians; for example he's used Marilyn Manson in some of his ad campaigns before. Not only that but he's used Fletcher and Wyatt to model before.
Now lets completely ignore the fact that they walked in this show and talk about how great The Garden is on it's own. The Garden is possibly the closest thing we can get today to an authentic punk band.
Here are a few of my favorites :

Are you obsessed yet? At least over the fact that Fletcher wears women's clothes and lipstick? Because you should be. So you got the coolness of this band and the fact that they modeled for YSL, I think my obsession is understandable.
