Summer Basics

Top- H&M, Shorts- H&M, Hat- H&M, Watch c/o Vestal
This type of outfit has been pretty go-to for me so far this summer. In the past summer has been the easiest season for me to dress for. But as my style has changed I've noticed myself feeling lost without my leather jacket and black jeans. So for the most part I've been defaulting to shorts with a basic top and this hat and watch.  I was really excited to receive this watch from Vestal (which you can find here). I've been eyeing this watch style for a while, but never found one I was completely happy with. My main issue is I always have trouble finding a watch that fits my wrist but this one fits perfectly. Not only that but the quality is wonderful, so it feels so nice to wear. But probably what I love most about this watch is the gold color. It's perfect for me since I don't like to wear a ton of jewelry anymore, so it's an easy way to add to my outfits. It's my way of pretending that I put a lot of effort into my accessories when in reality I just threw it on while rushing out the door (basically the story of my life).

Florals & Vestal

Sunglasses- Vestal, Jumpsuit- Urban Outfitters,  Fur Stole- Random antique store
Sunglasses are probably my favorite accessory. I feel like good sunglasses just pull an outfit together. Normally I opt for my classic black Ray-Ban Wayfarers, but those themselves have such a particular style that they really don't work with everything (most things, but not everything). So I was really stoked to get these sunglasses from Vestal (Which you can find here). My poor Ray-Bans have been neglected since I got these, but I'm just too obsessed with these Vestal glasses that I can't help it. I've been dying to try out a more 70s American Hustle-esque outfit out with these, so I was pretty excited when I came across this floral jumpsuit on sale. There's a small chance I bought it because of the sunglasses.

Also, my friend Keet took these pictures for me. Not only is he an extremely talented artist as well extremely cool, but he also has great style. So I just had to get some pictures of him as well.

Creature

Top- Asos, Skirt- DIY,  Shoes- Urban Outfitters, Hat- Random mosh pit
So I made this skirt for a school fashion show, and not going to lie I'm pretty proud of myself. It actually looks like a real skirt and everything! If only the fabric was something that could be worn in the current 100 degree weather at my house right now.

Also if you haven't noticed I have a new banner. My extremely talented friends Matt and Morgan made it for me and I'm really excited about it. It makes it look like I have my life together or something. Anyways, if you need to have some sort of logo or banner made contact them (at mlinman2100@pointloma.edu) because they are absolutely wonderful people.
