Libre Comme L'Air

These photos were taken from the balcony of my new apartment at school. It's kind of hard to tell, but that is in fact the ocean in the background. It feels so nice to be back in San Deigo. Most of the summer I spent looking forward to returning to school. I feel like I have so many things to look forward to this year, this apartment just being the first of those things.

I received this amazing leather skirt from Koshka. I absolutely love the color of it and liked the idea of sticking with blues for this outfit, so I decided to pair it with this navy and white swimsuit which I wore as a body suit. If you haven't heard of Koshka then I encourage you to check out their website asap. I think I love literally all of their product.

Modern Age

It finally happened. I participated in the monochrome white trend, thanks to this skirt that I got from Oasap. I am absolutely obsessed with it. Not only is it perfect for the all white look, but its so easy to throw on with almost anything. Oh and did I mention that its only $16? And not to mention these great reflective sunglasses from zeroUV are only $10. So for those of you that your minimum wage summer job barely seems to be cutting it– you're welcome.

Pink Lemonade

Year ago me would have been caught dead in this much pink. Shoutout to Oasap for making this perfect lil dress and Zerouv for making these perfect sunglasses and making me a pink loving girl again.

Night and Day

For this post, I teamed up with Missguided to show the versatility of the maxi dress and how it can be taken from day to night. In all honestly, this was initially a little bit of a challenge for me. I've worn maxis in the past, but it has definitely been a while. I didn't really consider myself to be a maxi dress person, but because of that I decided to take the challenge and figure out how to incorporate it into my style. After doing so I think its safe to say that I am a maxi dress person after all.

My Day Look:

For this look I decided to keep the dress simple, but use white accessories to give the dress more of a sporty look. The shoes were the key accessory here, and from there I added the sunglasses and the backpack to make it a little more casual.

My Night Look:

For this look I decided to add drama by sticking to all black. While the fur coat may seem out of place for a summer look, I absolutely loved the look of it with the neckline of this dress (also I'm always cold so its really not out of place for me). Instead of a necklace I decided to use a hat to tie the look together.
